This past weekend, our team of volunteers came together and packed an incredible 30,200 nutritious meals to be distributed to families in need across our local communities. We're grateful to each and every volunteer who donated their time and energy. Your hard work will help ensure that no one in our area goes hungry. Events like these are a reminder of what can be accomplished when we join forces, and every meal packaged represents a life impacted and brings us one step closer to achieving food security for all. Last Saturday, our NiHao ambassadors participated in our March Packing day. Our hard-working volunteers helped pack and move more than 22,000 pounds of food during their 2.5 hour shift benefitting Food4Kids. Thank you to everyone who volunteered, and we hope to see you at our next volunteer event!

In NiHao’s January monthly packing day, we helped pack more than 36,000 pounds of food in two and a half hours. Our volunteers helped create snack bags that will go out to kids across North Texas. Thank you to everyone who showed up, and we can’t wait to see you at our next pack and box! 

What an event! On the USCCC annual gala, NiHao ambassadors helped run a silent auction in collaboration with USCCC. Many people came to bid and donate to support our cause! We auctioned away things such as paintings, electronics, and books. A special thank you to the keynote speaker Andrew Yang for showing his support for our organization and helping us fight hunger!

​Our NiHao ambassadors attended the 30th ACP Metroplex Banquet this past weekend. Our volunteers worked hard to raise money and spread awareness about food insecurity. NiHao members and student ambassadors attended the Explore Asia: Multicultural Youth Gathering event at Mark Cuban Heroes Basketball Center last weekend. With flyers and t-shirts, NiHao promoted North Texas Food Bank and its mission to reduce hunger in the greater North Texas area. Thank you @dallaspd for hosting this amazing event! Our volunteers got to learn so much about the diversity of Asian culture and spread the message of NiHao!
