Alumni Testimonials
"NiHao gave me an opportunity to work with an organization that actually has real impact. I’ll forever be proud of the work we do on behalf of the Chinese community. It was also a great opportunity for me to gain professional and leadership experience. I cannot recommend it enough for current students to participate in."

"Volunteering at Nihao Food Initiative was a truly fulfilling experience. Not only have I been able to make a positive impact on my community, but I have also met some truly amazing people and formed new friendships through volunteering events. The Nihao Food Initiative, in partnership with North Texas Food Bank, created a welcoming and inclusive environment where people of all backgrounds could come together to make a difference. It is a great opportunity for anyone looking to make a difference in their community while also promoting the image of Chinese Americans."

"The Nihao Initiative effectively contributes to solving various problems in the community. Through efforts such as fundraising, food drives, and volunteering opportunities, Nihao relieves and raises awareness of the problem of food insecurity. Moreover, the initiative also serves as a platform for Asian Americans to come together and engage in community service and fundraisers, bringing the Asian American community closer and promoting active engagements in the North Texas community. I enjoyed my experiences at Nihao because I was able to help solve problems that I cared about. Through the experience, I also met many other like-minded individuals, building a stronger connection within my community."
