Harris Xie – Executive VP
Hello! My name is Harris Xie. I am fourteen years old and I am a freshman this year at Greenhill School in Addison, TX. I decided to be a part of the Nihao initiative because one in 5 people go hungry and I believe that together as a community we could change this statistic. I also have two dogs named Lando and Bella that are both adorable and extremely energetic. I enjoy doing family activities and some of my favorite sports that I like to play include Swimming, Watersports, Basketball, Golf, and winter sports. I’ve been a high honor roll student in all my years at Greenhill and I am also apart of Quiz bowl and debate National teams at my school, as well as a Blackbelt in Taekwondo. As the VP of activities I will create interesting and creative events to raise money to the Nihao organization and to the foodbank as well as attracting new members for the Nihao group by making things fun.
Irina Li – VP of Activities
Hello! I’m Irina Li. I’m quite fond of fencing, playing volleyball, reading, drawing, and writing in my spare time. Poetry must be my favorite form of writing. As of art, I’ve learned how to draw hands. Hands are most often the most difficult aspect of drawing humans. The eyes are manageable, even pleasant, and the hair comes easily, along with proportions, so long as you practice a little. That would be all for the art tips (goodness, this bio really ran off track-), and please stay safe out there!

Betty Liu - Treasurer
Welcome to NiHao Food Bank, my name is Betty Liu. I am currently an 8th grader at Ereckson Middle school in Allen, Texas and it is an honor to be chosen as treasurer of NiHao. The reason I wanted to be treasurer of this organization is solely because I want to help the community of North Texas thrive through its people and one of the main ways we can do that is by donating food. Outside of NiHao, I am the Socials director and General officer of the first ever Ereckson Speech and Debate Team as well as the Ereckson BEST Robotics Team, which won second place at state championships. I am also a dancer at Happyfeet Dance School. Through dance, I have won multiple awards at the global and national level including first place overall at TaoLi Global, second place at Starquest Nationals, and first place at Showstopper. With NiHao Food Bank, I hope to achieve our goal of giving where you live and improving our community as a whole.
